Mind Games

One of the last conversations I had with him was him gushing about how gorgeous Rihanna and Britney Spears and Kim Kardashian are..don't get me wrong..I agree...they are strong and beautiful women..I agree. My question to him was...how do you justify idolizing these women who flaunt their sexuality and bodies while in the same breath you control my freedom to express myself through my clothes and makeup? Of course his answer was...these women aren't MY wives...such a hypocrite!!!!

I'm not skinny...I'll be the first to admit I have low self esteem and he knew it and he preyed on it. He constantly told me how sexy other women were and then scolded me for being jealous. These MENA men deserve degrees in mind games...wow. I still feel attached and I don't know why but I will admit that everyday gets easier. This forum makes it easier..just reading everyone's story and realizing that none of us are alone. We were all played and abused. Thank God I didn't go to Egypt. He told me he wud take my cell phone..bc I wouldn't need it...but I suspect from the things I've read on here that maybe he would've taken my passport too. So glad to be on my home soil. Hope everything is good with everyone!
