Hi Lorna, don't say you're stupid. They have a way to really make us feel attached to them. That's their intention to do so. It's part of their game.,Just try to make sure he doesnt have the pleasure of hurting you again. What I use to do was think about the things he did and said to hurt me. This may help you also.
