Hello Lorna, I promise in time the pain will fade. You won't forget but you will move on. Don't have any contact with him. It's much easier to heal. As long as there's contact you can't heal. I'm sorry for what you are going through and how much he hurt you. Don't ever feel stupid. You are well educated woman who is a human being. We all want a man who will say all the sweet words and give us as much attention as we want. Try to be strong and take this as a learning experience. All of us here are very supportive and will continue to do so. Post on here as much as you need to. Prayers and hugs to you! :-)
