He caught you at a time when you were vulnerable (recent bereavement) but thank your lucky stars he never got what he wanted! He'll have a long, hard struggle getting to the UK and may even end up in jail like many do. If and when he does make it here, what could he possibly offer... black money and shared accommodation. What use is a guy like that lol...

I know it must hurt but I urge you to get on a path of self love. Once you truly love yourself you wouldn't dream of pining for a man that treats you like dirt. Stay away from men for a while and fall in love with yourself... there's so much more to life and exciting new things to discover every day. Take yourself on a weekend break. You'll forget all about that lowlife, I promise.
