Willful stupidity deserves no sympathy

Dear Dr Pipes, Your reader Michele tells us that she is a highly educated and successfully retired 52-year old American woman who fell for a 27 year old Moroccan man while she was still married to another person. Michele then goes on to describe her 'love story' that failed.

What can I say except willful stupidity deserves no sympathy. Thank God that no harm occurred to Michele but, surely, she deserved almost whatever she might have gotten. Sorry for being so blunt.
