Jackie:

Anytime a man proposes to you over the internet without even meeting you, it is a scam. You can also talk to him about VISA fraud all you want, but he will never admit to it.

While I understand how you feel, there are really two types of situations that have materialized on here in the past 12 years: either the woman is naive and inexperienced with relationships, or she is coming off a bad scenario such as a divorce or living with a man for several years who won't pop the question.

Jackie, the fact that you are even asking us about this says all it needs to. The uncertainty you feel won't go away, and frankly, you should feel the way the way you because this is a set-up.

And the girl----yes, that could be his daughter and he could already be married.

What you are experiencing is not uncommon for on-line, international internet relationships. I can't even begin to describe how women from Russia, Nigeria, South America all said they loved me or wanted to marry me even before meeting.

The several accounts on Facebook is also not unusual. They do that so they can scam multiple women at once, and given the relative experience of some of the older folks, he/she may not understand that it is possible to have multiple accounts on various platforms while the person getting scammed thinks all is well because they think there is just one account and he/she is on it.

Listen, Jackie, there is no question this is a scam, and there's a good chance he is already married and is seeing other women behind your back. The family may even be in on the scam, but even that's moot at this point.
