Speaking as the wife of an Egyptian

My husband did not change afer we were married, but we were married almost immediately. I am from Canada, and I am white and I live in America.

My husband does not tell me what to do, and any decisions we make in our life we make as a couple. We both wear pants in the marriage basically.

I have never felt like I was married to someone "egyptian" in the sense that my relationship is really different from any other. Aside from things like Ramadan, or going to visit his family in Egypt... We basically live just a normal life together.

I will say he never cooks, that is something that I do. Although it is not expected of me, the most he does is make simple things hahaha. He is spoiled like that, but I however insist he takes out the trash, takes care of the car, haha. We are pretty average.
