planning on marrying this man

i met an egypitan man on line.. i am taking my second trip to visit him and we are hoping he can come move here to be married... reading some of these posts are concerning... I have only known a very attentive, smart, funny, strong and wonderful man. He does have a tendency to be a bit controlling, but so far its been in fun and we laugh it off. Although if i send him a bit in a skirt of anything he doenst like he tells me to change my clothes, but it always seems in fun and i dont take it too seriously.. I have been there once and didnt get to meet anyone he knows.. he says he doesnt have friends and only his mother as family. this time im going i still wont meet his mother. she is unhappy that we are dating.. THAT IS MY ONLY RED FLAG .. THAT I HAVENT MET ONE PERSON THAT HE KNOWS... i belive what he tells me, that he doesnt really have any close freinds.... but.. still this is the part that concerns me.. am i being stupid?
