Censorship and Editing

Hi everyone:

I've been posting on here for over 11 years. We've been given a pretty wide berth to as what we can and cannot post and I think this is the best moderated site I have ever been on.

I do not recommend heavy moderating for this site. For one thing, it's good for people to come and talk so it's all out in the open. This really is the last refuge for women who need a place to come on this topic. I realize that was not the original intent of this blog, but nearly 1 in 15 comments on the site are on here.

Shelia, I can certainly understand your frustration. Things had been pretty quiet for the last several months, but these kinds of blow-ups have happened before and will happen again. People are always going to feel the need to defend their relationship in these situations, and the worst thing we could do is shut-down that part of the conversation.

It was very generous of you to give out your contact information in the hopes of helping out, but whenever you do that, you have to be prepared for most anything. I've warned women on here previously the risk is they will still put the guy first and if necessary take it out on you.
