When Is America going to learn shooting after shooting

I just heard the news there is another mass shooting in Florida high school..my heart go out of all the pupils that doesn't deserve to die..i felt so bad for the 17 parents..since this forum is mostly American I would like to say that America should ban gun long time ago..they are trying to ban K1 visa..why don't the president just ban guns period..im so happy that I lived in a country called Canada that gun wasnt legal..if America do not ban guns you will see more of your country people gets kills and blood..never mind about terrorism should worry about your own people and gun banning..when I watched it on CNN my heart breaks into many pieces..imagine if it's your children in this school..innocent teenagers that is full of life ahead of them and being taken away..god help them!!
