Your story is the same as many. They all are GROOMED EXTENSIVELY to SWEET talk you into things to achieve the goal.. SEX, MONEY and VISA..but they won't directly ask you - it is against their faith. So many red flags here!! It is FACT that these men are bigtime players..the strength they empower is their romanticism..They can talk such smooth/sweet romantic talk that leaves your head spinning and can crumble your rational thinking.

I thank God I read this forum and researched deeply before allowing my heart to go further into the hypnotizing romanticism of these men. Every bit of advise on here is accurate.

My goal after 3 years of LDR was to go to Egypt see the sites..have him as my guide and possible REAL lover relationship but I made it a 70%/30% goal. The teachings in this forum were ingrained in my mind before I went to Egypt. And let me tell you..every warning flag here was seen.

There was no real (spiritual connection) when being with him..no TRUE heart connection. I noticed that immediately. I paid for the trip/flat and other stuff. Actually accepted this since I considered it a trip of experience. I cut corners (even though he advised I should bring $5000 to spend). I refused and set a budget to spend at the onset (especially after reading the information here). He was not happy.

I got to see places that tourists don't get to see - which was my glory since I've wanted to see Egypt in a way like no other. I lived in the Islamic community, walked the streets of the people..it was unreal! It was outside of the tourist area..so I really got to experience the REAL of Egypt. I was dizzy with what I experienced.

On the flip side of "love". I found the proof of "numerous" infidelity contacts on his phone..all being groomed just like me!! Was even having sexual encounters live with other women at that same time he was "grooming me". At the beginning there were indications on his FB site in which he removed all the "other women" contacts and I found out later with a hack that he just moved them to Whatsapp/IMO/Skype. I was semi-shocked but honestly expected this because of the "red flags". I addressed it with him..and it was so difficult to continue the stay but did it with MY goal in mind - of seeing the rest of the sights. It was heart-wrenching with all the excuses and lies..but continued on until my departure date. Let me tell you..it was tough..but I did it..I wasn't going to waste my money on "emotional blindness".

It still stings..these men are alluring in strength/power/leadership/romanticism..but underneath they are living a dual existence of deceit contaminated with lies and manipulation. Of note - in addition to the information here and on other sites..it is curious that all the foreign women from there I've met were on alert when I told them of my relationship with an Egyptian man..they all were advising me to NOT ever trust these men. They would tell me the things found here in this forum. They looked at me like a fool. I live in a tourist town thus would encounter these women from Egypt. Even a woman on the plane advised me against this relationship and volunteered to meet him to "check him out" but also told me ..they are all liars!!

Thank God I guarded my heart after reading about others being STUNG, RAPED of their soul, money, sex and Visa. I am still slightly recovering from the SHOCK of the reality that there are men that are so deceitful and yet when told the truth - supporting it with the facts of the faith/religious beliefs..they continue..yet pray 5x/day..go to Friday prayer..it is upside down. But fruit of the spirit is FACT. I saw NO true FRUIT. Not spirit-filled.

My advise is the same as others. NO CONTACT. NONE. Each time they contact you, it will open the heart again ..again their words are SWEET..but remember they are SWEET to lots of others too. And also know that we are considered "less than men" due to the fall. Read "Princess" about a women born into Saudi family. I read this and she opens your eyes on how the men in the ME think of women. It is there ..all the red flags.

BTW..I groomed this man into pursuing a career in law..he is now an attorney - all because of my strength in God and encouragement to him. He was dead set against it till he met me. He is now at the top of a great law firm..so I am glad for him. I pray someday he matures in this area also..but I don't see that in him.

I am planning on writing a book about it..it is imperative that women in the world KNOW about these men.

Must say..I know other Egyptian men and have for longer than him..and they all..whether Copt or Muslim seem to be the same. They are looking for a way out of the country due to economic issues. I've yet to meet one that is REALLY TRUE.

I have the faith that there are some GREAT men there..but they must have some age to them, all they younger men have so many RED FLAGS. I could go on and on with this experience, but am going to write a book about it. To many things to discuss here.

Run away, join a support group as here. Turn to prayer and seeking God for your comfort. Heal..and move on..consider it as a huge learning experience. Love++++
