And his legal status in the USA? That is helpful to know however regardless of that detail, if you are being abused, there are resources and help available to you in the USA, I am a US citizen as well and although I am now a resident of egypt and happily married to an Egyptian now; I was previously married to an Egyptian american in the USA who was very abusive and it took me many offers and much courage to finally accept help in leaving the marriage safely and make the initial contact to do so. I encourage you to do the same, I am not sure where you live but I have many contacts in the USA and could help you locate a shelter or agency in your area, feel free to contact me via email @ syrianajordana7@gmail.com or u can also use your phone to Google search or call directory assistance to locate the same.
