Women in Iran are foregoing marriage? What next.

Dear Dr Pipes, one of your readers shared an LA Times story telling that many women in Iran are foregoing marriages because they do not find men good enough. Indeed, the traditional marriage in all countries and cultures is facing a lot of challenges but I think that if Prophet Muhammad were alive today a new revelation would have come to him that no good woman should remain unmarried after 18 years of age. And let us not forget he was supposed to be the last prophet!

So much for the Islamic doctrine.
