Fake Soldiers

You are so right. I've now had like 5 or 6 show up (usually from Ink Boys or 'love related' posts) and they are all stationed in Nigeria doing peace keeping duties and the military has frozen their accounts. It usually takes about 3 weeks of love stickers, moving into "I love you's" and then comes the desperate need for money....why is it always $200??? Is that like the amount they think we would happily turn loose of to someone completely unknown. I will admit the last one was pretty good. He started out using pretty normal American English and the got progressively more 2nd language in his postings. Needed money for his daughter who had the bad malaria....which is almost non-existent in the USA...and oh the story got so sad.

Funny as soon as I told him I was offended that he would DARE to ask me for money, he blipped out. It's almost hilarious now. I cannot understand how one could actually believe in this 'love' they profess in 3 short messages and believe it might actually be the real thing?
