How it could be prevented?

Hello all!

I was silent for a while...Sighs...I was thinking that there are so many Ladies were scammed, abused,cheated on and mistreated.
It is not because of we all are so naive or have low self esteem, although our stories with MENA men look so much alike...almost a carbon copy,only a few details different...

I am so over him by now and at peace with myself, so that I can talk about what happened without any pain or emotions at all. I see it as an experience,I got stronger and not so easy-persuaded person,I moved on.I found my old self,my inner balance again-the way I was before him:warm,still open-minded,but less naive about the world around and more aware of people's intentions.

What bothers and saddens me a lot-is that most of us gave those men a benefit of a doubt,despite multiple sad stories,happened prior,with other girls a while ago,written on this forum,yet-we still think: "It will NOT happen to us.We are different...He can not be that bad..do not generalize...he is different..."....and so on....only later to find out many- with broken heart and empty valet,and in some cases-in need of psych/mental/medical help.
We often tend to make assumptions of how the other person may feel,based on our own experience and personality.Just because one has a big heart,we want to believe in good in people...

How it could be prevented?

I think that- in most cases- a person can not learn from someone's story unless that person experience it herself...sad,but true...No matter how many times someone was told to not to even think of starting anything with MENA man..still so many got involved in such situations...
I think also that many are reading from here but not writing much-to avoid repetitive comments and thoughts...It is sad to see how many of ladies were here ...and how many more-may come...and those rats move onto someone else to use...horrible !!! And just like Judy,who does not wants to listen to Linda now,later on-many got scolded with reality...

I often think about Chelsea,HH, Shomi,Siobhan,STL,Jordana,Luhx,Cynthia,Linda,Nadia,Lisa,Sheila,Neptune,New Life,Candy Apple...and many other ladies...I hope that they are doing better...

I am thankful for meeting everyone here!!!your support and wisdom help a lot!!!
