Outing Those Who Act As Scammers

Thanks for keeping us updated. I hope this site has provided you with some insight and a means to talk about this difficult situation.

I would advise you to forward the messages to your ex-friend in a way you know she will at least look at the message, but I would ask one thing: before all of those messages, link to this site just so she knows she's not in this alone and can come here if she comes to her senses.

I don't see that you obligated to associate with her any further. You've been a good friend, and I think you've done a lot more than most would do.

As far as letting the government know, I guess it's worth a shot, but I've been saying on here for almost a decade that the government is more interested in stopping piracy, terrorism and human & drug trafficking than they are in making sure J & Z are happy---or any couple are for that matter. They probably have to see this through a legalistic view.

I just want you to be aware, since you've asked more than once, that trying to shut these men down independently is often a waste of time. There's always someone out there who wants to believe them and for some of them, this is a full-time gig.
