Why They Do It

The reason they keep doing it is because they are hoping to wear you down or they think they can still get something from you.

Some of the time, it works. They wear down the woman and get her back or to give more stuff.

I think you need to realize that keeping social media accounts and a particular phone number are not worth this hassle. Your true friends and family will understand if you need to make these minor adjustments.
