Dear Dinckydoo,

I think it was you who recommended "Islamic Jihad" to me months ago. Please forgive me for not responding at the time. I just downloaded the book (the author made it public in 2013) and plan to read it finally. I'll be happy to share my thoughts afterwards. After few months of absence I've been enjoying catching up on the new posts. I'm happy to announce that I myself healed and moved on, but the lesson I will never forget. You asked about motives of attraction to these men and their sinister behavior. I have not yet found the answer, but it's a perfect place indeed for all us to stop and evaluate own emotions before making their culture an everyday SAD reality for ourselves.

Lastly, there is a small detail you mentioned which I would like to respond to quickly. I don't think tattoos are particularly meaningful in the context of conversion. Calligraphy, whether Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, is just a popular theme. It's often gibberish and unrelated to traditional purposes. Tattoo removal might be more appropriate upon conversion to Islam ;)
