Fake Soldiers to Linda

I agree, I really hate that they use our American soldiers to try to scam us. Can't remember if I told you all about the guy who video chatted with me to show me he wasn't "one of them". The guy I saw but COULDN'T hear looked like the guy in the profile pictures. My daughter suggested I Google him. Oh my, turns out the real guy was a soldier and is now a senator from West Virginia!!

This guy used a bunch of the senators pictures. I told the guy -- hey did you know there is a guy that looks just like you on Facebook and has a lot of the same pictures you have? He spells his first name a little different but my goodness! He of course said no he didn't know that. I said, turns out he's a U.S. senator, you should check him out. He said he would definitely do that. I haven't heard from him since. I don't know how he did the video chat thing, but I'm sure he's not the only one that knows how. So ladies and gentlemen be careful and alert. Don't forget to Google them. You may be quite surprised how far these guys will go. I'm not any more, especially after that guy. As I have said in an earlier comment, I have reconnected with a long time friend and it turns out that we have felt the same about each other for over 40 years! So we are fanning the flame and will marry and live our happily ever after.
