Hi Lotus: You are spot on about the Koran not being attractive to read, there is no real peace in a religion that hates and wants to destroy innocent people, KORAN 9:5 "Take them captive, besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, kill them wherever you find them." 9:14 "Fight against them so that Allah will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them." Peace and violence do not go together. I am amazed that anyone would think Islam is a religion of peace.

So many barbaric things have happened under Islamic conquests. Remember the 300 young schoolgirls that were kidnapped by Boko Haram in northeastern Nigeria, that were reportedly sold as sex slaves. Men who practice a peaceful religion don't detonate bombs on an American street during a Boston Marathon race to kill and maim innocent people. This was the Tsarnaev Brothers.

No one who belongs to a peaceful religion would even consider hijacking jet airliners and flying them into buildings occupied by thousands of innocent people beginning their workday as happened on September 9/11.

No peaceful religion would tolerate, let alone practice, female circumcison, or require a woman to have her husbands permission to leave her home and take up employment, or restrict her ability to re-ceive justice in the case of sex crimes, rape or beatings.

Why haven't 3.5 muslims in North America rejected this kind of behavior by their fellow muslims?

I realize that these acts have not been carried out by peaceful muslims, but by radicalized extremists, many of them just coexist with adherents of other faiths, but the violent crimes should be condemned against innocent humanity as they have occurred, and we just don't hear the condemnation.

Yes, I have heard it said that Russian men are essentially drunkards, or are abusive. I believe that goodness comes from true faith, and the religion of Islam is not always conducive to peace, fairness, honesty, compassion, or freedom. People would be wise to understand and read about the religion and everything that is in the Koran. Holy people don't go around ambushing innocent people and lying because the Koran says they should. This is total antisemitism and brainwashing. Steer clear from people who are hateful, negative, jealous, and have an axe to grind with freedom, and liberty, everyone needs the ability to control one's own life and not be controlled. Islam's purpose is to form caliphates all over the world and grow in population, they do this through immigration, but don't assimilate to the cultures where they live. They grow their numbers, bide their time, and gradually take over by populations and getting elected into the political system so they can change the laws and constitutions of countries. Muhammed did the same thing, preached peace to the infidels and jews until he had the numbers to over power them. Naivety is fatal.
