Star you are so correct,and its just not middle eastern Muslim men,it happens elsewhere,but in this part of world it is so prevalent,and i hate to say it but Egyptian men are so different from a lot of other middle east men, and known to be so. Its scary how they are,when they marry a foreign women,for most you are never good enough. After a year married here to mine,he has finally moved out,i am not saying its all his fault alone,i can been jealous,controlling and not allowed him enough space at times,but then i have been like his own personal slave, at times,massaging,his feet,legs ,arms back,chest head from long stressful days at work. cleaning and cooking, doing shopping,the laundry,changing my mode of dress,trying to learn to obey,that sticks in my throat the most,being spied on,having my phone and lap top checked,accused always of affairs ,list goes on and on top of it experiencing all the points you made on your list. Plus the tens of thousands of dollars i have spent or given him in cash,and to help family.

I am physically,emotionally,intellectually drained, I wish I had your outlook and strength,I just want to curl up and go to sleep and die,I wish the best in the future for you because you deserve it.

Much love and hopefully happiness in your future ,wish i never came to Egypt.
