Not possible to know intentions

Dear Gigi,

Very difficult is all I can say about ascertaining the motive.All of us put our best foot forward.Your relative got along with an Egyptian and was lucky.How educted and well placed is this man and why dies he need an American wife?He can claim anything from his having sufficient income to his mom's permission.One factor to be careful about is martying him in Egypt.Another,if he wants American citizenship.

All can praise you to the sky but you must know this happens with genuine interest or with some ulterior motive.Even if you must meet him, get his credentials from Egyptian Consulate if you can.Otherwise, meet him in the presence of relatives who will be alert and wo n't get carried away by his charm.
All of us can be cheated by our own people.How can we trust a rank outsider.
