Hello Ruth,nice to hear from you.

I am sure you are not dumb or naive.You are a kind and romantic person who wants be in love and loved in return.Who doesn't? I somehow don't understand how he is going to come over if he doesn't work.Let's hope I am completely wrong ,but he shouldn't ask for financial help after he arrives there.He doesn't want relationship.Now he might also be trying to assure you that he is very sincere man.But then why is he traveling to you?He can meet you over Skype.Granted that you can't judge a person over Skype, but no one can judge anybody even in person since we all put our best foot forward while meeting people.

Just don't want you to get hurt.So be careful.Don't underestimate yourself,I repeat,you are not dumb,but a nice,kind person.

It's always better to marry a person closer home,since in case something goes wrong,you can seek help.People can be nice in person as well and can invite the other over to their country and steal the passport to make the foreigner helpless.So don't travel to his place at all.Even if there is any chance of relationship developing and he is found to be sincere,stay in your own place and refuse to migrate.Let him do so.
