Dear Ruth,

It's not confusing at all. He is not having a job.(Let alone his inability to apply for a visa for U.S.),he STILL wants to marry you--?Will he be able to provide for you or you will have to work and he will live off you?

You seem to be asking him some leading questions about whether it's a scam. He is predictably replying to you--assuring you that it's not.Even at the prospect of disappointment,LEAVE HIM. Change your email,WhatsApp,Facebook and all other public platform settings/identities. Note that I am using a safe ,encrypted Protonmail( free) with VPN proxy.Let him not contact you ever.Let him not come to the U.S.He might get your help to come over and you will end up paying for his travel,stay and everything else.DON'T at all visit him,since you will be again given romantic promises and innocent that you are and obviously in love( I know it can be very alluring and even intoxicating--such contacts and communications over Skype or emails),you will be cheated.You can get stuck there with no one to help you.

So drop him and look for someone closer to you--one who has been recommended by your own friends,relatives--anyone you can trust.Even there you will have to be careful.If you are destined to be happy( I am sure you are),you will get whoever is destined for you.SO DON'T BE IN A HURRY AND DON'T GET CARRIED AWAY BY ROMANTIC FEELINGS.

You have not met him in person and that's when I started worrying about this whole issue.Even in person he could have cheated you if he wants to.

Leave MENA and Turkish.Not all may be bad but being distant,you can't know.
