I can only say that you should not continue to allow him to isolate you, berate you, batter you, spit on you (that would do it for me). If it were an American man that would not be tolerated either. I have been in relationships that could have gone this direction, although not with a foreign man, so I do hope you will stop letting your love? for this man completely blind you to the reality that he is NOT good to you or for you.
