Hello Amanda

Yes, it is common for them- to disappear and reappear.
It is as if like they "punish" you with their silent treatment,because the things did not wok for him the way he wanted,and then-later on -alternating it with sweet lies-just to get you back,supplying you with what they need from you.
BUT-they absolutely do not care about you,as a person.

They tend to create that illusion of feelings,a love haze- they actually have none for you,otherwise they would not play mind games with you.They will care not to hurt you in any way,if there are real feelings.

Please,read more and educate yourself on Narcissism-and here you go-a clear picture of what is going on. Please,consider to GET OUT of this as soon as you can!!!! This is not healthy. You will risk your sanity if you continue to be part of his mental games.
