Yes I was like you...vulnerable

Hey Sheila
Absolutely true. I had been through so much since 2010. I also had just gotten out of the hospital from sewer gas poisoning. And I was still recovering from some very bad injustices in my life.
I never did online dating. Facebook is all I had. I would vent on there and also give out too much information I should not have about my situation and my emotional pain.
I was at an all time low. Felt no one cared. I am sure this came out in my postings and I was a perfect target for a predator. He started fast and knew exactly what to say. I am sure he had been watching me for awhile profiling me. I was very spiritual and close to God for He was and still is all I had and all I need. He even knew all about that about me and this really hurt because he played that he was the perfect Godly man for me. It hurts to this day that I took vows and made promises to God that I never knew would be impossible for me to keep. I asked for forgiveness and also for wisdom. God allowed me to go. He protected me and also after I saw the holy sites. I clearly was woken up by God to get out and get out now...but like you I was blinded. I was deceived and I am thankful for that still small voice. I know I was pushed...studied and I know he watched me and tried to message me many times but I was not into chat. I am now getting closer again to God and very thankful. God has always watched over me. All the glory is His. I relate to the woman at the well. I am stronger than I ever have been after this. And I will never drink from that well again. The guy tried to guilt me even with my faith. But I chose life. Mine. I have forgiven and depending only on God now and I know I can trust Him. I can see how God grew me through this. I came out better.

Now I know my worth. I would never settle again. I see evidence of His love and blessings everyday. I told God today I feel like His Princess. Recently God blessed me with a beautiful condo on the beach. He takes better care of me than any man ever did.

And yes...my vulnerability was played. That is how he got so deep into me....he knew them. I am not vulnerable anymore. I know on whom I can lean on. And trust....only God. And like you I will never make that mistake again for I have learned a valuable lesson. I know I will never be alone. I have God and He is not a liar. I am so thankful. Much love.....Chelsea
