Hi Sheila,
I wanted to suggest you to read a book called " Reclaim your heart" by Yasmin Mogahed. As we all are human living under One God, this book can be read by people of any faith and beliefs .
May Almighty God heal your heart and ease your struggles . May He bless you with lots of happiness.
