Linda this is a scam!

He is isolating your friend so that he doesn't have to worry that her mind is getting filled with the truth. They want and will have control. They will tell you who your friends can be. They will go hang out with their friends and leave you sitting at home. This makes them happy. Has your friend read on this forum? If not , she needs to. He will change her into a person you don't know anymore to get what he wants. These men are users , Scammers, liars. None of us are perfect but they are ridiculous. I wish women would listen before they get in too deep. Let us know what's happening with her. I know it's hard for you to sit back and feel your hands are tied.
