Hey Linda,
The reason he didn't come to visit is because it's ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to get a travel visa ti the USA. The only way is he has to have money, a great job, properties and a GUARANTEE that he'll return home, especially he's probably a young man. The only alternative these guys have is to marry a foreigner thereby securing a U.S. visa/residency. It's like offering it to them on a silver platter..
