Hi, I suppose You have already found out about the romance facebook scams and know for sure Your friend is being scammed. The facts he is so much younger, contacted her on facebook, got divorced and has a sister in the US all point to a manipulation to get a visa and then a Green card.

How a Catholic will be received in Morocco? - it's not a Catholic coming to Morocco but his visa walking to him. They don't care about age, physique and religion as long as they get what they want. There is a Buddhist lady here who is going to Morocco this summer and Muslims are not allowed to marry Buddhists.

Is it dangerous? - No, as long as he needs her. Once his objectives are attained it gets dangerous and she might even get killed. There are cases like that. One Moroccan killed and burned his French wife and brought his new wife and child to France on her passport. Together they stole all her possessions and the new wife still lives in France with their children and got residency despite having entered France illegally and having lied to authorities. Google " Karbal Dandouni case" ! You'll never, after reading it, let any relative marry a North African and bring him over. The French born virgin wife had Maghrebian origins and was only a year or two older than him. He had the 2 wives and a mistress at the same time.

Your best bet is to contact Your embassy with Your friends details, explaining the scam, and to ask them not to issue a K1 visa to anybody who is sponsored by her. You'll save her a lot of trouble and maybe her life.
