Yes it will get worse

In my experience any man, Muslim or not, who starts a relationship with name calling very often ends it with violence. Name calling is ABUSE, plain and simple and should not tolerated. I tolerated it with someone who also childishly unfriended, friended etc every time there was conflict - he became violent. What you accept and put up with - you get and it will get worse. He has shown he has no respect for you and you are thinking of going into his stronghold. Save yourself and your esteem.
