Hi Lisa,
I haven't posted my story yet, which is so similar to many other stories here..I was reading your story and there are obviously some common points.
Since your amount of money is pretty important, why don't you start with a lawyer where you live?
it will cost you some money... or you could contact the local consulate or Embassy... even the Moroccan consulate where you live.. it would be for free and it is a start. And it is not as dangerous as going back there and exposing you to some blackmail or corruption.
