its been a while

Its been just shy of 3 years since I have posted on here, I would come now and again and see the post, it broke my heart then and breaks my heart today, to see so many woman still being abused. My advice to the woman who "accidentally" found this site, protect yourself and make sure you have an escape plan in place. There is no accident in finding this site. Your truth is your truth, just be true to yourself and be safe. For those of you that feel you would lose your step or breath if you could not be with this man. I have been free with my children from a man I was married to for 13 years for 3 years now. I could not catch my breath sometimes, I thought I would die, I thought I would never be complete again.

3 years later I am thriving again, my children are thriving, and happy. I am learning to be happy. I learned my truth, I learned I could breath and I learned that each day was new. You can do this as hard as if feels, as foolish as you may feel. You will grow past this. I hate to say you will move past this because you won't you will grow, you will learn, and every now and again after much soul searching like myself, you will be willing to take a peak back into the darkness, take a deep breath slam the door shut again and feel so much relief that you are free. For those of you that are unsure, no one will ever be able to convince you of what you do not already know.

Take the advice, look into your soul, find if it is love or something that is lacking. My story, others stories on here are true, not some made up this could happen scenario, this site is here to help you see from a third person, not from what family is saying. hell we don't know your family, we do not know you, the only thing we all have in common, is that we have been mentally physically and emotionally abused by men that will never see or think they are in the wrong. It is a cultural thing, not just a religious thing. Now your truth, be real to yourself.
