Im not a lawyer, but in my opinion, you will need to forget ever getting anything paid back to you. You were legally married and they will put it up to normal married spending. My advice to you would to file for divorce, I am not sure you qualify to have your marriage annulled, unless you can prove he married you to defraud the system and or you. I would however file a complaint with immigration and with DHS so once he leaves the country and he tries to reenter he might be denied access. In his mind as long as he told you are divorced then you are divorced from him again this is in his mind. So I would make it legal as soon as possible.
