Get away from him Sophie. My opinion is he keeping you a secret from everyone. Mainly his family which is a red flag. 9 year age difference , not wanting to communicate with you, he's hanging out with his friends like his single. I don't want you to hurt more but I don't see any possible way this man loves you. People you love you don't treat them this way. I don't comprehend with North African men. They are some of the most manipulative men I have ever known of. I don't think it will get better because it's started out bad it sounds.

Get yourself away from this hell before it gets worse and it can get worse. I'm not sure of his intentions but by what I have read I do believe you don't need him in your life or you will have a nervous breakdown. I'm wishing you the best and come back and give us an update on what's going on. We'll try to help you out best we can.
