Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men
in response to reader comment: I don't think I ever said why I don't feel hurt

That is so typical of rats and I dare to say it is also typical of Muslims. It is their way or no way when it comes to their religious beliefs. That has been my experience with them and I do have a bunch of them around me daily. It's not only the North Africans or those from Sub-Sahara Africa. It is also those from Asia...Pakistan, Bangladesh etc, etc.
This lack of compromise is a major reason why the cultures do not mix well. Of course, there are other religious groups who do not eat pork and would probably act in a similar manner, but they are not the subject at the moment.
I remember my friend from Pakistan who came to MY house for a visit. I had very soft, instrumental, music playing in the background. As soon as he walked through the door, he asked me to turn it off. I did because I was brought up to be polite and make people comfortable, especially in our home. However, it still bothers me that I didn't tell him to f--k off.

If there is anyone who has had a different experience, when it comes to compromises with culture, religion and the rats, I would love to hear their story.
