Dear Ashley

I t saddens me to hear what you have been through,especially at so young an age. I remember my own heart break at this age with my fiance who i met in university in Ottawa who was originally from Eastern Europe. I am a lot older and living and married to and living in Egypt with my much younger Egyptian husband. So believe me I can relate to your story although they are from different North African countries,they have a similar mentality.Also i dated a Morroccan when younger so I know how they can be also. My heart goes out to you,but you sound like your a strong young woman, and with time you will hopefully heal and find someone else,your youn,time is on your side enjoy it,do not let this episode in your life keep you from experiencing life. I let myself be devastated by a man I loved while living in Australia and gave up over 14 years of my youth and life because of it and did not date because of men and being used by them so much when i was younger and beautiful. I regretted all that time lost even though I had friends and family,I missed out on trying to trust and find someone else. I thought I had found it in my husband when i gave up my celibacy but not sure about that anymore,Egyptian men can be so emotionally ,verbally cruel,mine at least is not physically violent with me.

So do not give up, is my point,enjoy your youth,take time to heal your wounds,spend time on your own finding you, with friends with family,and if you find someone a long the way your attracted to take the chance,life is a roll of the dice anyways,its all a game of chance. Lots of love and luck going your way,i wish you the best,youn sound like a nice person and deserve better.
