What is a Romance Scam Scammers are on dating sites, and social networks setting up fake profiles. Scammers will pose under the disguise of beautiful pictures as either male or female claiming to be from the United States. The scammer weaves a story of a successful business person working over seas, having no family; they present themselves as a thoughtful, caring and loving individual who is looking for their soul mate. The scammers are good at what they do; they ask lots of questions of the victim regarding what they want in their lives. The scammer then takes the information and turns it into a dream that becomes a reality to the victim. They use words we all like to hear to woo our hearts so they can burn our souls. They use psychology to hold you in their spell. Once they have established a relationship then the scamming begins. In all cases the plea for Financial assistance is the key to the scam. This can be for assistance in cashing a check that they are unable to cash themselves and also asking for financial assistance to help them out of a difficulty they are having. They have landed in a hotel and now cannot pay the bill so the hotel is holding all their papers so they cannot leave. They are desperate to come to you but need your help with the money to manage that. They were mugged and are in the hospital and need you to pay their hospital bill as they are being held hostage until it is paid. Read More After being scammed you are put on a "contact" list by the scammers. You will be receiving random instant messages and emails from people you do not know. These are scammers trying to scam you again. Please tell them you know they are scammer and block them. You will know within 5 minutes if it's a scammer by looking at the profile, how they write/speak, their picture, they state they live in Nigeria, they confess their love in the first meeting, they claim God brought you to them etc. After you keep blocking them, they will stop and you will be placed on a "NO" contact list . Before i met mohamed i was friended with a few guys from UK and America and he have told me his wife died from car accidents and he saw my profile pictures and something tell him he have to send me a request. he say im beautiful and he wants to marry me and be a wife to his son. hes son was 6 year old. hes was stationed to Iraq or Africa work for contsruction site and really looking for a wife. then he told me his son is sick in hospital an needs money and tell me to send him money.. NO WAy i soon as i heard MONEY. im tottally off. remember i never ever paid for LOVE. then the next day i asked him again how did your wife died and he answer she died from complication from birth. totally different story then i blocked him off right away. and i also used his pictures and do a goggle image search and came up he used another guys pictures from Tagged and downloaded some of his pictures..omfg. i was shocked. then i google it more it said that romance scams are usually a group of 6 ppl worked together in an internet cafe and take turn in shift. so one get off shift the other one starting. thats one the second guy doesnt know what the first one was talking about. if you keep asking him question the answer always changing because its not the same person..lol..damn stupid if they want to work together at least they have to know the detail what one person say to another. make me laughed. right before i blocked him off i say to him you are brainless your really dont knwo what you said to me yesterday and now you changed your story around. haha.. i found it on youtube about romance scammers and some women lost their lives because of these thieves. there was an old woman 65 and she think shes in love with a 35 year old man and she flew to Nigeria and meet him and she found out hes a black man not white in the picture. she was found murdered in her hotel room he told her everything including her i.d's and cash. what a jackass. so be careful ladies if any guy contacts you on facebook white a white man's pictures and few photos of himself its most likely is a Romance scammers and they usually say they are engineer or contractors worker. BEWARE!! and i did asked him to see his face on cam of course obviously he said NO because its not him.haha. i just played with them i told him i answer more question if i can see you on cam and there are lots of excuses he cant see me on cam.. total bag.!!
