Happened again

Hello everyone here,

This is my second time dating an Arab male and hopefully my last. These two experiences have been probably the worst of my life. First relationship lasted 3 years, and the whole three years I spent so much time and effort, battling the whole religion and family situation. I stayed a secret from everyone in his family/friends/cousins/etc and at the ends of the day I found messaged of him talking to a Muslim woman.. on a more serious note. Basically, Muslim men will never take a relationship with a nonMuslim seriously. No matter how much they may love and care about you, their culture will always always comes first. The latter was confirmed with my last relationship. From the beginning I knew it was a bad idea, but you learn to believe and trust these guys, the way they talk, the way they make you feel. He knew about how bad my last relationship ended and promised me that his family was different and more accepting. According to him his parents knew, I met his sister on a brief occasion but once again once his parents insisted that he was losing focus on his studies (which he was not) he dropped me like nothing.

Literally less than 12hrs after talking on the phone and saying goodbye like normal, the next day he said I can't do this, I'm sorry. It's the saddest thing to have someone you love and care for look at you in the eyes, like you've meant nothing to them and say goodbye sorry but I'm done.

Please please be very careful when dating Muslim men, they will treat you like a princess but you will never become their queen, specially if their parents are around. They are raised to put themselves first, to enjoy life and women but they will still only get serious with whomever their parents approve off. It's not fair to any of us. We give so much into these relationships to have it fall flat on our faces, so like someone previously mentioned have fun, enjoy the time with them but don't consider it something serious!
