Hi Marissa and happy You are OK and safe. Well, as I already told You ALL North African males are very, very pushy, obnoxious and must have all they ask immediately. Congratulations for not giving in! Even when these as*holes pull back one is to expect a stronger and longer offensive later on. What did he want exactly? Marriage, money, You going there? Good You are done with him and You seem to not have been affected badly and not in love. He must be furious ha can't get much. Expect him to attempt contact in the near future. They never give up their prey.

If marriage is what he wants You could politely state he does not have the desired by You educational, social and economical level and that is perfectly acceptable by their standart. Most rats always nod nicely when I explain I prefer a European house owner who can bring me at least 4000€ per month and most rats agree with me it is better for me. You have to be very specific and explain the man's financial situation has to be real and there. Not potential because they all have big business ideas. "I will work when I come", "my uncle in France is rich" and "I can get a job that pays this well" will not do. They have to have the house and the money ready. If not, well their loss.
