Dear Chelsea,

I am quoting your expression: "I know that I can sacrificially love."

I am a follower of Dr. Daniel Pipes website out of my interest in contemporary Islam. And I'm an American male, so I'm not particularly drawn to this page; however, it seems very popular in terms of the number of readers. I'm also trained in Philosophy. So the subject of Love interests me to.

That expression you used suggests to me Sadomasochism. This is a psychological state of a person, and people in this realm are on the frontiers of discrimination and misunderstanding.

My recommendation is that you definitely avoid Muslim men. Yes, this is Prejudice, Discrimination, Stereotyping, Politically Incorrect, Profiling, etc. But it isn't Racism. Cultures are places from which a person can escape, even though it's very difficult. And Islam is currently going through its own Reformation. Therefore, I recommend for you an American Christian man as better suited to your personality if you do not wish to be abused, because you seem particularly volnerable, from my reading of your post.

But an even better choice for you would be to convert to Judaism (I don't believe that you're Jewish, because Jewish culture and religion produce very strong women who channel their maternal and housekeeping activities very well in terms of their own needs. Ivanka Trump is a good role model of a woman who converted to Judaism and is very happy in her roles of Business, Politics, Marriage, and motherhood.

Even more than in the case of Christianity, Jewish culture holds a woman in very high esteem, even in the case of the Haredi, who practice of form of Division of Labor in the Home and World for their Women.

So if your character is to "sacrifice" I believe that your best chice would be the one I mentioned before.

But don't feel bad. Their are even men out there in the world, who would wish to "sacrifice" themselves to the Woman/Wife. And I'm quite certain that such domineering women treat their spouses much better than their male counterparts - if the man just bring home the bacon (or Kosher Chicken, if he's Jewish).

At least one good thing about the tenure of President Donald Trump, non-Racist generalizations, as in this Page on Muslim Marriages, may no longer be Politically Incorrect, but (Social) Scientifically Empirically True.
