To Broken heart about age and money

In North African culture the wife should be younger. And the younger the better. They lie about everything as I told You already. Age, marital status, educational status, name and so on. He has scammed You big time. 20000$ is a lot. I suggest You contact the American embassy and Sue him. He will go to jail in Algeria and You could even recover the money although I doubt it. Which town is he from? You should not let him go unpunished. Name him and shame him on tunisianloverats, facebook groups, even here if it is legal. There is a french group called beznessland. Pity there is not a site about Algerians as I feel they deserve publicity. They even scam their own cousins here by tricking them into marriage. Bad bad bad!

What did You spend the money on if it is not a secret?

I would contact the police, both in the usa and in algeria. But write to the embassy first. Also, report him to facebook. I am sure he has numerous accounts.

If he is quite young he might not want to marry yet. Imagine 3-4 girlfriends flying in every month or so. Some of them get quite rich this way. There is a name tahlab - means milking or getting the most out of a person. Be strong, at least u r alive. others r not so lucky. And never again, ever! Forget them, they r cr*p
