My life and my kids life have made a drastic change for the much much much better. My ex husband and I were married in the US and never in a mosque. You're right western countries do not consider these type of marriage legal. The marriage we had he knew the courts would be in favour of the mother unless proved unfit. He paid a few alimony payments because he was found guilty of adultry because my Dad hired a PI and he had all the evidence needed. I knew he was doing it but didn't have the proof. He never paid child support and I didn't push it. He has now gone back to Egypt because he didn't want to continue with alimony payments. It's fine with me because at least he's not here.

The biggest mistake I ever made was getting him a K1 visa to the US. We live and learn and sometimes the hard way. Never again though and I will teach both my children how to respect others and we treat them as we want to be treated. I'm raising them under the Catholic fate It will be their choice when adult age in what they want but I feel they will be very westernized and will live westernized. They are great kids considering the rejectment they got from their father but my now boyfriend is good to them, we have my family , we have the church and close friends. We have lots of support and I will do whatever I have to so my children will feel stable and secure. I've got a very good job as of the first of the year and it allows me to have reasonable time to be a mother to my children. I hope to marry Brian and he wants the same.

We are just not rushing because we are very close and we feel we have time to take because we're both still young. I'm 29 and I will be 30 this year. Brian is 3 years older. I got caught up in my web of deceit with my ex when I was very young and getting online. They use older women but they will use a young one too even if they have children with you. It's not all of them but I say don't risk it. Thanks again because you're very right my hardest is behind me now. Love your posts btw.
