To destiny about Egyptian man

Dear Destiny,

You are located too far away to know these Egyptian men are just looking to boost their ego. No normal decent single Egyptian man will marry a single mother with a child to care for unless it is for an economical benefit. I doubt he can afford to come and visit You in the Philippines as most men in Egypt are dirt poor and can not afford to go to Sudan let alone th Philippines. So, unless You pay his fare he probably will not come. Also, without offence, they prefer rich women from Western Europe or North America. European women are more exposed and aware of their intentions and most do not even bother to answer, let alone chat with them. He is using You as an entry level exercise. He must feel very flattered by Your attention and likes it. Or he sees You as the last train out of Egypt. Maybe he tried it with American and English women and it never worked. Some MENA (Middle East North Africa) men spend decades of their lives preyng on Western women and at the end decide to marry the first foreigner stupid enough to date and marry them.

My advice would be the same as the advice other ladies gave You. It will be hard but it will be even harder later on as You get more and more attached to them. They know how to occupy all Your free time so at the end You have no free time at all and slowly loose friends, time, money and mind. It is not easy to cut ties, although those ties exist in Your head only. For him You are a nice pass time and ego booster as no Egyptian woman will waste time chatting to him. Start telling him You are busy with Your child, parents, job, whatever and keep conversations short. Meanwhile chat up other men from other, more normal countries and see how it goes. Keep reading this forum and I hope You find the courrage to block him.

You can not really let a stranger live with Your child, can You? I would not. Can You go and live in Egypt for a while, say 2-3 years? You will then understand me, the other ladies and HIM better. Ask some philippino ladies who have worked in Arabic countries about Egyptian men. They will tell You a thing or two. Good luck and keep Us posted
