Hey Tela,
The only thing I can think of why you are not seeing when he was last on, is maybe, he unfriended you, but you can still communicate via messenger. If I unfriended someone I can still talk to them but I can't see when they are online. I can however see their camera icon lit up. Hope that helps. Maybe some of the other ladies here might have some other ideas too.
