You're far better assuming the worst and moving on than giving him the benefit of the doubt and suffering for it later. I was in a course in Devon with a a 2d generation UK woman of Turkish woman whose famly was still muslim. She emphatically refused to date muslim men. Her brother insisted she get a virginity test,and this for a woman 47 years old. Who knows? It may be successful but the stats aren't good that your life will not change drastically if you marry him. ,
