Thanks Viraj. No, I am not lonely at all. But you hit the nail on the head when you say he has aroused my motherly and womanly instincts. I am the mother of a grown son, so I do tend to pay attention to a young man's alleged suffering. But this game is over.

I have unfriended him on Facebook. I don't want to have to open another account because I have many friends from way back in high school that I enjoy being in contact with. But I have limited my contact with him and will eventually block him altogether. . . even though he threatens suicide (I know, I know) when I get tough with him.

It angers me that these men are preying on so many American women - especially the young ones with proposals of marriage. I am old and wise enough to see through most of this. But I worry about young, vulnerable, lonely women. Thanks for you advice. Much appreciated.
