I married a Muslim Man

I was married to a Muslim man for over 12 years. I loved him dearly. I was under the impression that we respected the cultures that each of us grew up in. He was here legally. After ICE picked him and and escorted him with two Air Marshalls back to Pakistan, only then did I learn of the deception and unbelievable lies

I was in love with a fake name, fake date of birth and someone whose family is associated with a quite controversial group called MQM. Nightmares were a common occurrence. If it was not for my own faith in God, many prayers and counseling, I would not be in my right mind. It is very horrific the torture that happens in the mind. Something will trigger a conversation we had 10 years ago and I find myself analyzing EVERY memory.

My advise to any woman that is interested in being with a Muslim man..... Be ever so careful. Something I have heard a lot recently is that No Muslim will never Convert to or have a true relationship with a Christian. Not saying that God could not change the heart of a Muslim- that would be awesome.
