Be Alert Celine

There is one good aspect to your story Celine and it's that you both are going with your daughter.
I'm sure you'll have a great time as a tourist in Egypt. The family will welcome you too. This will be the easiest part.

The possible romance between your daughter and the Egyptian is cause for concern. However, there is not much you can do about it now. Your objection will drive her closer to him...but at least you would have done your job as parents.

We always want to protect our children from possible hurt and pain. It it times like these when you see how difficult it is to be a parent.

You'll just have to be there for her. Leave the channels open so she will feel at liberty to confide in you, if and when it starts going wrong.
